TEK SYNDICATE
What does every LAN party need? HANGRY NERDS thirsting for some TEK TONIC!
Tek Synidcate partnered with Qualcomm to make a physics-based artillery game and corresponding interactive vending machine. Participants downloaded the app, then played a few nerd-flinging rounds. When players won, the game generated a QR code that was redeemable at a custom vending machine, which dispensed branded Tek Tonic energy drinks.
I illustrated the assets and packaging.
EXPERIMENTAL 8-BIT AND PEPPER’S GHOST ANIMATION
Have you ever imagined playing a video game that used real world models and holographic animations? We did!
To test our concept, I illustrated and created a fly-though animation of the proposed gameplay map (in 2D form), then experimented with Pepper’s ghost stage techniques and analogue environments. It was low-tech, but super fun!
